1. Avoid alcohol, energy drinks, coffee, and blood thinners. These substances can increase bleeding and affect the quality of your tattoo.

2. Make sure to get a good rest and a good night’s sleep. Tattoos can be stressful for the body, and it’s harder to endure the pain when you’re fatigued.

3. If there is hair growing in the area where you’ll be getting your tattoo, it’s recommended to carefully shave it off. It’s best to do this the evening before the tattoo to avoid irritation. Also, take a shower before your session.

4. Choose comfortable clothing to wear during the session, and you may want to bring a change of clothes as well. It’s better to choose something that you don’t mind getting ink or transfer on since they can be difficult to wash off.

5. It’s advisable to have a nutritious meal before your session, especially if it’s going to be a long one.

Pain is subject to interpretation when it comes down to tattoos. Every individual’s pain tolerance varies, which makes it difficult to describe specifically how painful it is. Many will agree that sitting through a tattoo is definitely not a comfortable feeling, but the satisfaction of seeing art on the skin once it’s all over definitely makes up for the discomfort. Many people compare the pain from tattoos to waxing. Some of the most painful places for a tattoo include joints, ribs, and the neck. However, it can be subjective for each individual.

The duration depends on the size, complexity, and individual factors. Small tattoos may take an hour or less, while larger ones could require multiple sessions.

Prices can only be accurately quoted in-person, because the price of your tattoo will depend on the size and complexity of the design and the location on your body. Rough estimates may be made by email. Smaller/simpler tattoos are quoted by the piece, and the rate for larger/more complex tattoos is $200 -300 per hour.

To get a tattoo, you need to be 18 years old, or parents must be present during the tattooing process.

Although the skin begins to process of reconstructing itself immediately after the procedure is done, it generally takes roughly 10-14 days for the external healing process. Proper aftercare is crucial to ensure proper healing, the artist should provide proper aftercare instructions once he is done tattooing.

We don’t use local anesthetics during the tattooing process. While some individuals may desire pain relief, it’s important to note that using local anesthetics during a tattoo can carry potential risks, including anaphylactic shock and adverse skin reactions.
